"Siberian Kittens Family" offers a health guarantee for all its purchased Siberian kittens. Within 4 days of purchasing your new cat, you must take him/her to a licensed veterinarian for an examination. If the veterinarian determines, within 4 days of purchase, that your kitten is clinically ill or has died from an injury sustained or illness likely to have been contracted on or before the date of sale and delivery, you can contact us.
Our Siberian kittens are 100% guaranteed to be in good health and free of any signs of infection and any contagious or communicable diseases at time of purchase. We take pride in the fact that our relationship with you does not end when you take home a kitten from us. As a family of breeders, experienced cat counsellors, and die-hard kitten lovers, we’d like to believe nothing can ever go wrong with our Siberian kittens. However, certain things are never in our control. A cat’s health is dependent on a lot of factors like genetics, exercise, food & nourishment and overall care. While we may not be able to guarantee that your kitten will never have a health problem, we guarantee to do our best to ensure your new family member is a healthy one!
We do not believe your cat is replaceable but do believe that sometimes the pain can be lessened in the company of another furry friend. In the unlikely event of the death of your cat within one year from its date of birth due to genetics, or if the kitten is found to have congenital or hereditary disorders (within 1 year) which adversely affects the health of your kitten, we will replace the cat with another of equivalent value at no cost to you. The cause of death should be certified by a licensed veterinarian.
Nothing delights us more than knowing we were able to bring a healthy, happy cat to your home. We do seek out your help to ensure your kitten remains healthy. Here are a few measures that will help: Send us a copy of the examination(medical record) within 4 business days of receiving your cat. The examination must be performed by a licensed vet. Your kitten will come with up-to-date, age-appropriate vaccinations, so make sure you do not vaccinate within the first ten days of receiving your kitten. While we de-worm & vaccinate your kitten till the departure date, we’d like you to continue proper de-worming & conducting regular exams up to 16 weeks of age or more (or as recommended by your vet).
We cannot guarantee the disposition or temperament, conformation, size, weight, color, markings or breeding ability of your new cat. Failure to provide your cat with timely inoculations or regular veterinary care will void this guarantee. This guarantee does not cover any costs associated with spaying or neutering, including undescended testes.
We require all our Siberian kittens to undergo an extensive health check before they come home to you. This health check is performed by our vet, who is required to fill out our Veterinary Health Report. This report, created for us by a licensed veterinarian, is designed to examine the condition of every kitten for: Cardiovascular, Skin, Coat, Eyes, Mouth, Teeth, Gums, Musculoskeletal, Respiratory, Ears, Urogenital and Gastrointestinal. We require this report to be filled in close to the date of your kitten coming home to you so as to safeguard that your kitten’s health evaluation is a recent one. This report is then reviewed internally for any issues or concerns notated by our veterinarian. We also require that you have your cat examined by a licensed veterinarian within four days of receiving the cat.
